Heard just yesterday on a supposedly educational TV show, from the mouth of a supposed veterinarian: dogs have "playful energy" while cats exhibit "naughty behavior".

Lump them all together? Somehow many people seem to miss the fact that each individual critter has a very distinct personality. It may take time to see it - but it's there.
